About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Manager to join our team at I.LAC INVESTMENTS INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.
  • Bakery Operations: Supervise the preparation, cooking, and handling of food products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food products, as well as supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Financial Management: Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods, including managing inventory and controlling costs.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant experience is an asset.
  • Experience: Experience in a bakery or related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Availability to work 40 to 45 hours per week is required.
