About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Alliance Store Fixtures Inc. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Assist Medical Examiner in Charge: Provide support to the medical examiner in charge as needed.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites: Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Site Environment: Ability to work in a dusty environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Familiarity with nail guns.
  • Construction Specialization: Experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional construction.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
