Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for performing dimensional control and inspections throughout the manufacturing process. This includes verifying discrepancies between client drawings and internal manufacturing drawings, inspecting both incoming and outgoing parts, as well as raw materials.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct meticulous dimensional inspections on various manufactured parts, including laser cutting, bending, welding, and polishing processes.
  • Compare client drawings with internal manufacturing drawings to identify any discrepancies.
  • Perform thorough dimensional inspections of received and shipped parts, as well as raw materials.
  • Prepare and complete comprehensive inspection reports.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager to effectively organize quality-related tasks.
  • Work closely with the Planning Manager to ensure seamless coordination of quality-related activities.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience using measurement tools such as tapes, calipers, and levels. Familiarity with surface roughness measurement techniques is a plus (training provided).
  • Demonstrated understanding of mechanical drawings and welding processes (TIG and MIG).
  • Practical knowledge of manufacturing environments and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards (training available).
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat (PDF), and Outlook.
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Working Conditions:

Day shift - Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Friday from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required.

Compensation:

$24.00 to $26.00 per hour
