About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Nextgen System Canada. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure, ensuring that our business operations are supported by accurate and timely data insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering: Design, develop, and deploy data pipelines, architectures, and systems to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
  • Predictive Modeling: Build and maintain predictive models using machine learning algorithms to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Business Intelligence: Develop and maintain business intelligence reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support data-driven decision making.
  • Cloud and Big Data: Design and implement cloud-based data architectures and big data solutions to support scalable and secure data storage and processing.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to ensure that data solutions meet business requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in data engineering, predictive modeling, and business intelligence.
  • Skills: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala; experience with data engineering tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, or AWS Glue; knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
