About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at 14668502 Canada Inc. as a key member of our finance department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Process payroll, including calculating salaries, wages, and benefits, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST/HST and income tax returns, and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
