Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Site Management: Supervise and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Woodworking and Construction: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and ensure the quality of construction work, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; will train.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy, dusty, and outdoors environments.
  • Work Setting: Experience working in construction, renovation, commercial, and residential settings.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work long hours, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, judgment, reliability, team player, values and ethics, and punctuality.
