IT Solutions Consultant

Position Overview:
As an IT Solutions Consultant, you will engage in a consulting and support capacity with dedicated clients and partners, addressing various intervention mandates within your area of expertise.
Contract Duration:
12 months
Working Environment:
Hybrid model (2 days per week onsite). Your role will involve working on continuous production deployment and application support.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in French or bilingual capabilities are essential.
Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support for the monitoring environment, ensuring its health, availability, and performance.
- Execute necessary configurations for data and log ingestion.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to the log ingestion environment and configurations.
- Create dashboards, SPL scripts, and regular expressions for data ingestion and analysis.
- Serve as a technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analytical efforts.
- Utilize industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements in the supported area.
- Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with peers across project management, development, and business sectors.
- Participate in the deployment of continuous production releases and application support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in technological infrastructures and IT monitoring within multi-platform environments.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Unix Shell (Bash).
- Familiarity with *nix servers (AIX, Redhat Linux, Solaris) and Windows Server.
- Experience with Dynatrace on-premises migration to SaaS is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is a plus.
Certifications:
- ITIL certification covering incidents, changes, problems, and events is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Ansible/Tower, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Citrix, Web Technologies, and Hypervisors (KVM, VMware, etc.) is an asset.
- Understanding of enterprise middleware applications (Oracle/MS SQL/DB2 databases, IIS/Apache Web Servers, Proxy, Distributed Services) is advantageous.
