Position Overview

Nestlé SA is seeking a highly skilled Finance Associate to join our finance teams. This role is a 3-year rotational program that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the integrated nature of the Nestlé business cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in core Finance functions through various rotations in both factory and office settings.
  • Develop business acumen and support long-term success at Nestlé.
  • Understand the manufacturing processes and how finance plays a key role in cost management.
  • Learn the Nestlé Costing Standard for Manufacturing and gain a deep understanding of the manufacturing conversion process.
  • Provide analysis and guidance on Procurement & Distribution Cost.
  • Create budget models, develop "what if" scenarios, identify cost savings opportunities, and prepare and interpret monthly P&L cost analyses.
  • Work collaboratively with above market share service organizations.
  • Understand how Nestlé Canada Financials are reported to our Headquarters in Switzerland.
  • Learn how funds are managed, tracked, evaluated, and established.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any related discipline.
  • Past internship/Co-op experience in a CPG industry (a plus).
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0.
  • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-focused.
  • Agile, innovative, and intellectually curious.
  • Fast learner, comfortable in a dynamic, challenging environment.
  • Strong computer proficiency (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
