Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Specialist to join our team at Webber. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the leadership team in monitoring and reporting on project-level compliance with the Maintenance Rating Program (MRP) and the Safety Plan.
  • Provide leadership on health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSE) requirements for the Project.
  • Set the HSE standard and lead by example, promoting a collaborative mindset and a culture of safety.
  • Conduct worksite HSE observations to ensure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local regulations and company, project, and site requirements.
  • Develop and implement HSE training programs and conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, determining root causes and contributing factors, and develop corrective actions.
  • Track and analyze HSE statistical data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Provide emergency care and first aid as needed, and oversee case management follow-up.
  • Assist in the implementation of the Corporate Fit for Duty Program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in the infrastructure or maintenance industry.
  • 1+ years of experience in construction or general industry HSE leadership.
  • Associate degree/college diploma or working towards a Bachelor's degree in a safety-related area of study.
  • Possess or be working toward a professional HSE credential, such as ASP, CSP, CRSP, or OHST.
  • Valid driver's license with an exemplary driving record.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, managers, and clients at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, offices, and other locations as needed.
