We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Burger Shack. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of food items, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and free of clutter.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Support: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
