Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Immaculate Heart of Mary School. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers and assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records and observing children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various media and engage them in activities that promote learning and development.
  • Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
Requirements:
  • Child Development Worker (ECE level 2) certification.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience working with children with special needs, including children with allergies and asthma.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and good judgment.
Work Setting:

This position is located at Immaculate Heart of Mary School, a childcare centre that provides a safe and nurturing environment for young children to learn and grow.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

32 to 40 hours per week.
