Cement Craftsman

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team at 1731437 ALBERTA LTD. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create a smooth and even surface.

• Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to walls and ceilings
• Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces to ensure a strong bond
• Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
• Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
• Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings

As a Plasterer, you will work in a variety of locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be exposed to dusty environments and will be required to work at heights.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plastering
• Ability to work at heights and in dusty environments
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
