About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Just Like Family Home Care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene assistance to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and planning
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Accompany clients on errands and grocery shopping
  • Administer medication routines
  • Engage in quality time and companionship with clients
  • Assist with exercises and physical activities
Requirements
  • Smartphone savvy for use during shifts to clock in and out and do visit notes
  • Complete a criminal record check
  • Consistent job performance and attendance
  • Reliable transportation
  • Professional demeanor and respectful attitude
  • Ability to perform basic housekeeping and meal prep tasks
  • Home support worker certification preferred (but not necessary)
  • Flexible availability
  • Previous caregiving and/or elder care experience
  • 1+ professional references
  • Applicant must reside in British Columbia
