Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pay Equity Specialist Consultant to join our team at Lrostaffing. The successful candidate will have experience providing specialized technical advice, representation, and guidance on pay equity, job analysis, job design, and job evaluation related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement pay equity systems and their maintenance, ensuring compliance with the Pay Equity Act and addressing the gender wage gap in the federal public sector.
  • Analyze and evaluate compensation plans to ensure compliance with regulations and address pay equity issues.
  • Lead complex, large-scale projects related to pay equity system development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Provide technical expertise, information sessions, and training to staff and member representatives on pay structure and equity, job analysis, design, and evaluation systems.
  • Prepare written rationales to support decision-making and provide analysis/support to negotiation and research sections.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of pay equity principles, job design, job analysis, job evaluation, and classification.
  • Knowledge of public sector processes, practices, and stakeholders involved in pay equity, job design, job description writing, job analysis, job evaluation, and classification.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead complex projects and provide technical expertise.
