Job Summary:
Piramal Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our production staff, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement manufacturing schedules and plans to meet business objectives
- Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements and maintain a high level of quality in our products
- Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effective operations
- Participate in HAZOP analysis and other risk management activities
- Provide technical assistance and support to production staff and other teams as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Knowledge of cGMP requirements and quality management principles
