Medical Oncologist

We are seeking an Associate Physician in Medical Oncology to join our team at BC Cancer-Kelowna. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our cancer services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of specialized medical oncologists to provide comprehensive care to oncology patients. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients, including those with complex medical needs, and contribute to the development of our cancer services.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of oncology patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Contribute to the development of our cancer services, including education and research
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A medical degree and a minimum of 2 years' training in a postgraduate medical training programExperience in internal medicine and oncologyEligibility for licensure in British Columbia in the Associate Physician ClassExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in CanadaWhat We OfferWe offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a municipal pension plan, and psychological health & safety programs and holistic wellness resources.
