Truck Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Truck Supervisor to join our team at SIDH TRUCK TRANSPORTATION INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising truck drivers and projects, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and coordinating repairs and rentals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of truck drivers and coordinate their activities
- Train or arrange for training to ensure drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge
- Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Recommend personnel actions and participate in the hiring process
- Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
- Team player with a positive attitude
This is a permanent position with a 35 to 40 hour work week. The work environment is outdoors, and the successful candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Language and AvailabilityThe language of work is English, and the successful candidate must be available for shift or on-call work. They must also be willing to relocate for this position.
