Bakery Operations Supervisor

The Bakery Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the bakery, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Lead and allocate tasks to bakery staff, fostering a productive work environment.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to assess consumer preferences and sales potential, while monitoring competitors' activities.
- Product Selection: Decide on the range of baked goods and services to be offered, ensuring quality and variety.
- Pricing Strategy: Establish and manage pricing and credit policies to optimize sales.
- Marketing Initiatives: Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote bakery products effectively.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare budgets and track financial performance, including revenues and expenditures.
- Recruitment: Hire, train, and supervise bakery personnel and volunteers.
- Inventory Management: Select and procure ingredients and merchandise for the bakery.
- Customer Experience: Assess and enhance customer service and the overall shopping environment.
- Sales Leadership: Direct and evaluate the activities of the sales team within the bakery.
The role is set in a fast-paced bakery environment, involving repetitive tasks that require attention to detail.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the bakery sector.
