Position Overview

As a Transport Services Driver at ABS Truck and Trailers Parts Ltd., you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of products to various locations. This role requires a commitment to quality service and the ability to handle physical demands associated with the job.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment

This position involves working in diverse settings, which may include various locations depending on delivery needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to transport goods.
  • Prepare, package, and restock items as necessary.
  • Load and unload products efficiently and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records of trip details, including vehicle mileage and fuel expenses.
  • Handle payments for goods and ensure proper transaction processes.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
Licensing Requirements

A valid Class 5/5F/G Licence is required for operating cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles.

Physical Demands

This role is physically demanding and involves handling heavy loads, with a maximum weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
