We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Ami's Kitchen Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
- Operate dishwashers and washing machines to ensure dishes, glassware, and utensils are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
- Prepare and portion food items, including fruits and vegetables, for service.
- Assist with food preparation, including heating and finishing simple food items.
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Handle and store cleaning products and supplies in a safe and organized manner.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
