Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to assist in various tasks on construction sites. This role involves working in diverse environments and requires physical stamina and the ability to handle heavy materials.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
Work Environment
  • Site Conditions: Primarily outdoors, often in noisy and dusty conditions
  • Work Setting: Construction sites
Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials including concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in drilling and blasting operations
  • Level earth to meet fine grade specifications
  • Support demolition activities
  • Clean and organize salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Manage clean-up of chemical spills and other contaminants
Physical Requirements
  • Must be physically capable of handling demanding tasks
  • Ability to lift and carry loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Safety Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Safety glasses or goggles
  • Protective gloves
  • Ear plugs
