We are seeking a skilled Gravel Truck Driver to join our team at Luc Enterprise Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.
Key Responsibilities- Route Planning and Optimization
Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, utilizing computer equipment, GPS systems, and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
Vehicle Operation and MaintenanceOperate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition and performing regular inspections of tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
Payment and LogisticsProcess payments for goods and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Work Environment and ConditionsWork in a dusty environment, with a typical workweek consisting of 35 to 44 hours.
Requirements- Education and Experience
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but 2 years to less than 3 years of experience is necessary.
Language and Work TermFluency in English is required, and the work term is permanent.
