Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at SOLID VENTURES & SUPPORT SERVICES. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
  • Demonstrate infant care skills to new parents, providing education and support.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable).
