Job Title: Derrickhand - Oil and Gas Drilling

We are seeking a skilled Derrickhand to join our team at Precision Drilling Canada Limited Partnership. As a Derrickhand, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining drilling mud systems and pumps, as well as writing daily basic progress reports.

Job Summary:

This is a seasonal position that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have experience working in confined spaces, outdoors, and in dangerous conditions. They will also have excellent oral communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain drilling mud systems and pumps
  • Write daily basic progress reports
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety
  • Collaborate with a team of 5-10 people to achieve project goals
  • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
Requirements:
  • Standard First Aid Certificate
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
  • Rig Worker Fall Protection
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
  • Willingness to travel
