Warehouse Associate Job Description

As a key member of the Metrie Ops team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, and ship a variety of building materials, including mouldings and doors
  • Read and understand pick lists and paperwork
  • Lift, push, and pull material bundles that weigh up to 49 lbs.
  • Ensure accurate tallies and order quantities
  • Operate various types of machinery as required, including an electric tugger and trailer
  • Clean and tidy the work area as required
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and timely
  • Product binning and put-away as needed
Key Interactions:

You will report directly to the Operations Supervisor in Langley and will be a key member of the Metrie Ops team.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment, and are comfortable operating various types of machinery
  • You must have reliable transportation or the ability to transit
  • Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Are great at communicating with others in both verbal and written format
