Job Summary:
Lakeridge Health is seeking a highly skilled Utilization/Flow Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Transition Management department, you will play a critical role in optimizing patient flow and improving clinical efficiency across our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow and reduce wait times
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address bottlenecks in patient care
- Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements
- Design and implement process improvements to enhance patient experience and outcomes
- Provide education and training to staff on best practices and new processes
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Baccalaureate education in nursing preferred
- Member of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario
- 5 years of relevant clinical experience and demonstrated clinical expertise related to patient flow
- Working knowledge of community resources to support discharges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
