Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent hand-eye coordination, accuracy, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in plumbing
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical stamina to perform physically demanding tasks
Work Environment:

This is an on-the-road job with a permanent position. The working hours are 40 hours per week, and the language of work is English.
