Job Summary:

The Strategic Commercial Banking Relationship Manager is a senior professional who plays a key role in driving business growth and revenue through strategic relationship management with mid-corporate clients in Canada. This role requires a deep understanding of commercial banking and a strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate and deepen relationships with mid-corporate clients in Canada
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow revenue and expand business with existing clients
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on commercial banking products and services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop solutions to meet client needs
  • Manage and administer client relationships to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to ensure the bank remains competitive and relevant to clients

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of commercial banking products and services
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of market trends and developments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Masters degree or CFA
  • Proven track record of success in commercial banking or a related field
