Position Overview
The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the financial transactions related to customer accounts. This position involves overseeing the entire Accounts Receivable process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring the secure handling, depositing, and accurate recording of all receipts.
- Assist in the Credit Management process to maintain customer adherence to established credit and payment agreements.
- Input receipts into the exp.o Accounting system and allocate them according to the provided remittance advice.
- Generate and distribute timely account statements while performing necessary reconciliations.
- Identify and address problematic accounts proactively, resolving any related inquiries.
- Prepare calculations for bad debts and maintain a forward-looking schedule.
- Support Credit-related tasks in alignment with the Global Credit Policy.
- Contribute to Internal Control Evaluations and Audit processes.
- Assist the Accounting Department with various projects and assignments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
