Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Taiv. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, building, and deploying projects that will help us achieve our mission of making TV commercials as targeted as Facebook ads.

About Taiv

Taiv is a fast-growing post-seed tech startup located in Canada. Our product detects and replaces regular TV commercials in restaurants, bars, and gyms with ads for local businesses that are way more targeted. We're the only company in the world with this technology.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, test, build, and deploy projects using a range of technologies including Android, web, and backend.
  • Work closely with our team to identify and solve complex problems and build scalable systems.
  • Collaborate with our product team to develop new features and improve existing ones.
  • Contribute to the development of our custom-designed TV box and heuristics-based computer vision approach for classification.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, testing, building, and deploying projects.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C, and C++.
  • Experience with OpenCV and computer vision.
  • Strong multi-threaded programming skills.
  • Entrepreneurially minded and able to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
