About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at Albion Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our veterinarians in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Collect and process laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including surgery and anesthesia
  • Administer medications and vaccines as prescribed by veterinarians
  • Care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery, including wound and bandage care
  • Provide excellent client service and communicate effectively with pet owners
  • Perform various office management and clerical duties to support the smooth operation of the clinic
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in veterinary technology or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
