Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing components of refrigeration systems on vehicles
  • Maintaining refrigeration systems on vehicles through diagnostics with scanners, electronic tools, and onboard computers, completing preventive maintenance, component replacement, and general upkeep of refrigeration equipment
  • Reviewing work orders; addressing operators' concerns; rectifying malfunctions; removing, replacing, testing for refrigerant leaks, assembling, and installing parts and components, which may involve welding or refrigeration equipment usage
