Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Commercial Account Manager to join our team in Sudbury, ON. As a key member of our team, you'll provide exceptional customer service, work closely with our Commercial Insurance Broker, and drive business growth through new business development and account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assistance to the Commercial Insurance Broker
  • Service Independent Business Unit accounts and write new business
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to customers, ensuring they understand their insurance needs
  • Process incoming Commercial paperwork and assist with quotes, new business, and customer file updates
  • Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications, and issue insurance certificates
  • Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments
  • Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters, and follow up on claims status
Requirements
  • High School and/or Post Secondary Education
  • 3 years commercial insurance experience, including property/casualty and automobile (preferred but not required)
  • RIBO License (preferred or willing to obtain)
  • Strong customer focus and previous sales experience (an asset)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
