Position Overview:

As a Medical Liaison specializing in Vaccines, you will leverage your scientific expertise to ensure the optimal use of GSK's vaccine portfolio. Your role will involve fostering impactful scientific relationships and providing essential support to both internal and external stakeholders, in line with the strategic medical objectives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture scientific relationships with key opinion leaders by delivering balanced and evidence-based information, while facilitating advanced medical education initiatives.
  • Serve as the recognized scientific partner within your designated area, maintaining comprehensive knowledge of vaccine-related diseases, treatment options, and the competitive landscape.
  • Engage proactively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and decision-makers, ensuring a non-promotional exchange of information.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the healthcare community and GSK's internal teams, gathering insights that will inform strategic business decisions.
  • Represent GSK at scientific conferences, leading engagement initiatives and contributing to the dissemination of scientific knowledge.
  • Provide training to commercial teams on GSK products and relevant medical conditions, utilizing approved educational materials.
  • Support clinical development efforts by assisting with evidence generation projects and identifying potential clinical trial sites.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • Fluent in English with strong scientific communication skills.
    • Possession of an advanced scientific degree (MD, Ph.D., PharmD).
    • Residency within the designated area is required.
  • Proven ability to present scientific data credibly and facilitate peer discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and strategic execution of medical initiatives.
  • Familiarity with regulations governing medical communications in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Effective negotiation and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of reimbursement processes within the healthcare system.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for this role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the designated area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a medical affairs role, particularly in field-based positions within relevant therapeutic areas.
