IT Director

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager to lead our technology team and drive the next level of growth for our organization. As the IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our technology operations, ensuring that our infrastructure can grow seamlessly with our business needs.

This is a full-time position that requires the flexibility to travel to our office as needed periodically based on business requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Technology Function: Provide strategic direction and oversight to our technology team.
• Develop Technology Strategy: Develop and implement technology policies and systems to support our business growth objectives.
• Ensure Technology Security: Ensure the security, efficiency, and availability of our technology infrastructure and operations.
• Manage Technology Assets: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Manage External Vendors: Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers.
• Monitor System Performance: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
• Coordinate IT Support: Coordinate IT support, training, and orientation for new technology users.
• Develop Disaster Recovery Plans: Develop disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity.
• Improve IT Processes: Work to continuously improve, automate, and streamline our IT processes.
• Lead SOC2 Compliance: Lead and support SOC2 compliance audits.
• Stay Current with Emerging Technologies: Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our operations.
• Monitor and Respond to Threats: Monitor and respond to threats and potential security incidents.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager who possesses the following qualifications:

• College or Bachelor's Degree: College or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Network Administration: Proficiency in network administration and IT security protocols.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite: Experience with administering the Microsoft Suite of tools.
• Strong Experience with System Installation: Strong experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis – Mac, Windows, Linux.
• Understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework: Understanding of the NIST Cybersecurity framework.
• Excellent Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Eligible to Work in Canada: Eligible to work in Canada.
