As the Senior Director of Engineering and Operations, you will be responsible for leading and nurturing a team of highly skilled electrical engineers and technical service professionals. This includes power system engineers and technicians with expertise in metering, protection and controls, communications, battery storage systems, and related software applications, as well as project managers and other specialists.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Registration with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) is mandatory.
- Formal training in project management is advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of power systems engineering and design is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic development, project management, and client relations is required.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, along with adaptability and resourcefulness.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience, including management of engineering and technical personnel, vendors, and projects.
- Strong understanding of North American electricity markets and the energy services sector, particularly in demand response, distributed energy resources, and software/energy as a service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across various mediums.
- Robust financial and analytical acumen.
- Leadership in product development through the creation of scalable solutions and innovative business models.
- An entrepreneurial mindset towards business development, characterized by a proactive attitude and a commitment to success.
- Strong presence at the executive level, with strategic insight, consultative selling skills, and credibility.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America.
