Position SummaryAs a Lead Fullstack Engineer within our Core Squad, you will play a crucial role in developing groundbreaking products that cater to both our partners and users. Your extensive experience in frontend and backend development will be essential as you work with state-of-the-art technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and React. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust integrations with suppliers via APIs and SDKs, ensuring a seamless data flow and user experience. With a strong emphasis on MongoDB and PostgreSQL, you will help create scalable, high-performance applications. Collaborating closely with Product Managers, you will significantly influence our product roadmap and deliver exceptional value to our users.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the complete design, development, and deployment of both frontend and backend solutions.
- Establish and maintain integrations with suppliers utilizing REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Design and optimize database solutions with a strong focus on MongoDB and proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Work in close collaboration with Product Managers to comprehend requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver impactful features.
- Mentor and support junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure high code quality, simplicity, and long-term maintainability through thorough code reviews and adherence to best practices.
- Propose and execute well-regarded technical designs for large-scale projects, focusing on usability and user experience.
- Facilitate sprint retrospectives and incident post-mortems to encourage team reflection and enhancement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, recognizing how your contributions align with broader business strategies.
- Balance practical solutions with technical excellence, knowing when to advocate for quality and when to find compromises.
- Engage the right individuals to discuss options and escalate as necessary when faced with challenges or changes in scope.
- B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 6-8+ years of experience in implementing Backend and Frontend solutions.
- Proven expertise in backend development with a solid understanding of modern frameworks and technologies, particularly MongoDB, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in frontend development, with the capability to swiftly implement features and interfaces.
- Strong grasp of FCP, LCP, TBT metrics with an emphasis on web performance.
- Experience in integrating third-party APIs and SDKs.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach.
- Demonstrated capability to manage significant technical projects from inception to deployment.
- Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with product managers and other stakeholders.
