Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patient specimens and coordinate out-of-province testing requests
  • Track specimens, results, and reports
  • Provide technical support to laboratory staff and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Master of Science degree in Genetics or Master of Science/Master of Arts in Genetic Counselling
  • Board eligible or board certified by the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors (CAGC) and/or the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC)
  • Specialized knowledge of clinical genetics and laboratory molecular genetics, cytogenetics, and genomics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
