Job Summary
Pivotal Integrated HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. As a key member of our distribution center team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of products throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems, to move products throughout the warehouse.
- Receive, store, and ship products in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to company standards and procedures.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve productivity and quality goals, and contribute to a safe and healthy work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with training and development of new team members.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, with a proven track record of safety and productivity.
- Knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, order picking, shipping, and inventory control.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with RF-based Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or voice recognition systems.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and safely.
Working Conditions
- Work in a warehouse environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental hazards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent changes in priorities and deadlines.
- Must be able to commit to a flexible work schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed.
