Verve Senior Living Retirement Residence is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Services Supervisor to oversee our dining operations and contribute to a positive and enjoyable experience for our residents.

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our dining services. Your responsibilities will encompass supervising meal delivery and service, maintaining the cleanliness of dining areas, and managing the dining room staff effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the dining room, including meal delivery and service.
  • Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in all dining and bar areas.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to dining room staff members, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Oversee the performance of the dining room team, including scheduling, payroll management, and training.
  • Participate actively in quality improvement programs to enhance resident satisfaction.
  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding new dining room staff members.
  • Coordinate catering functions for special events and occasions.
  • Monitor inventory levels for bar service and ensure adequate supplies are maintained.
  • Manage resident seating arrangements and meal times effectively.
  • Address any conflicts or issues that arise in the dining room promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
  • Provide support to servers as needed, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Complete cleaning tasks after meal periods to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
