Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to lead our General Merchandise and Fashion teams. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  3. Merchandising and Display: Ensure that the General Merchandise and Fashion departments are visually appealing and well-merchandised, with a focus on creating an engaging shopping experience for customers.
  4. Task Management: Delegate and follow up on the completion of daily tasks, including customer availability process and scheduling.
  5. Training and Development: Participate in the training and development of General Merchandise and Fashion Associates, providing feedback and coaching to help them grow in their roles.
  6. Store Safety and Maintenance: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum age of 16 years old.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
