Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Technician to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing heavy duty structural repairs on transit buses and coaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding repairs on transit buses and coaches, ensuring high-quality results and meeting safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of damaged areas to determine the extent of repairs needed.
  • Develop and implement repair plans, including selecting materials and tools.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective repair processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in welding and repair techniques.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in welding and repair, preferably in the transit industry.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
