Job Summary

THIND CONTRACTING INC. is seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components, start up systems, and test for leaks using testing devices.
  • Repair and Replacement: Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems.
  • Maintenance and Testing: Perform maintenance tasks such as recharging systems with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, and calibrating systems.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication skills.
