Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at the Westin Calgary Airport. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and execute events with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all banquet spaces, lobby, public areas, and storage areas are "picture perfect" for optimal first impressions.
  • Prepare and set up banquet spaces according to specified plans, including table arrangements, decorations, table linens, table settings, etc.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly, courteously, and professionally, adhering to all regulations governing the service of food and alcohol.
  • Assist in the assembly and breakdown of all banquet displays and decorations, and clear tables and clean banquet areas after events, ensuring spaces are ready for future use.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a server or in a food & beverage position is an asset.
  • Tech savvy and able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • ProServe certification is an asset but not required.
