We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Care Aide in our Long Term Care facility. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, social interactions, and recreational activities
- Work collaboratively with the Long Term Care Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of belonging and well-being
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge in long term care
- Grade 10 education plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or equivalent combination of experience, training, and education
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
