Role Summary
As a key member of the Interventional Radiology team, the Operations Manager will oversee the effective management of the IR services. This role involves collaborating closely with the clinical team to ensure high standards of patient care and operational efficiency. The Operations Manager will also work in conjunction with the Director of Interventional Radiology to enhance service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and operational effectiveness of the Interventional Radiology team.
- Provide leadership and direction to the interprofessional team, ensuring quality patient care.
- Collaborate with financial management to handle budgetary responsibilities.
- Manage human resources for the IR team, including recruitment and performance monitoring.
- Support organizational strategies and develop quality improvement initiatives aligned with UHN standards.
- Establish and manage long-term objectives for the growth and diversification of the IR Program.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, reporting any issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a regulated health profession or equivalent.
- Active membership with a Regulated Professional College.
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in a Medical Imaging or Interventional Radiology setting.
- Proven leadership and motivational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
