About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairstylist to join our team at Doria & Co. Hair & Bodyworks Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional hair cutting and styling services to clients, including cutting, trimming, and coloring hair.
  • Shampoo and condition hair, and provide scalp massages to promote relaxation and well-being.
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches, and apply hair extensions to enhance clients' natural beauty.
  • Supervise and train junior hairstylists and other staff members to ensure high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest hair styling and coloring techniques, and attend workshops and training sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in the hair industry, preferably in a salon or barbershop setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment, if necessary.
