We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Harbour Link Container Services Inc.

Job Summary:

The Transportation Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of supplies and materials between departments, performing routine clerical duties, and preparing and submitting reports. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments
  • Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Prepare and submit reports to management and other stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and logs
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units
  • Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
  • Project manage logistics operations
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Follow up on issues with work orders
  • Keep track of shipments and ensure timely delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
  • Process and transmit information to coordinate activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in dispatch management service software, monitoring and tracking software, and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices
  • Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
