Job Title: Painter, Products

We are seeking a skilled Painter, Products to join our team at APEX ALUMINUM EXTRUSIONS LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various metal products, including aluminum doors, windows, and awnings. This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week, with a secondary school graduation certificate and 1-2 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply coatings to metal products using electroplating equipment, hot-dip metal plating equipment, and spray equipment.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, as well as prepare and mix metallizing solutions according to formulas or specifications.
  • Select appropriate paint or mix paints for specific applications.
  • Tend automatic metal coating machines and prepare items for application of protective or decorative coatings.
  • Operate equipment to spray or coat metal products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle heavy loads.
  • Excellent oral communication and teamwork skills.
