At Raytheon Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to lead our team in delivering cutting-edge solutions for the most demanding challenges in the world.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage complex development and production programs and proposals.
- Plan and manage project budgets and schedule using appropriate project management control techniques.
- Manage and maintain an Open Issues List (OIL) for each project.
- Address all customer Contract/GTC requirements.
- Provide clear and concise direction to the Capture Team, Program Execution IPT, and the customer.
- Drive a rigorous active Risk and Opportunity project register.
- Network with senior internal and external personnel on issues.
- Represent the organization as a prime customer contact on key issues.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business Management or equivalent experience.
- 10 to 15 years' experience in full program/project life cycle starting from customer identification, bid development/assessment to product delivery and retirement for various types of projects/programs and sizes relevance to the various Mission Areas.
- Experience of delivering programs to government agencies, commercial, and non-government regulated industries.
- Proven ability to create and produce winning bids in the target international customer community.
- Strong leadership skills, proactive team builder who can motivate and lead by example.
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience in developing effective, long-lasting relationships – internal and with customers.
- Strong negotiating and closing skills.
- Experience in managing and motivating diverse teams in the delivery of innovative solutions.
- A clear record of accomplishment that demonstrates process improvements in techniques, tools, approaches, and personnel.
- Ability to take complex analysis and present/communicate it in a concise manner.
- Excellent commercial and financial awareness, including a good understanding of risk and opportunity management, analytical reasoning skills, and decision-making.
